Reverend Marianne Unger has been Bethany's Pastor since March, 3, 2003. She graduated with a Master of Divinity
Degree from The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia in 2000 and was ordained in 2001. She loves youth ministry, prison
ministry, puppet ministry, snow skiing, ballroom dancing with her husband, nature, retreats, and spiritual formation.
She is a chaplain with The International Order Of Saint Luke and is a Spiritual Director for OASIS Ministries. She is
dedicated to serving the church of Jesus Christ.
Stephanie Silva is our Administrative Assistant. She is a graduate of Holy Family University with a B.A. degree
in Sociology. She loves to volunteer. Her grandparents grew up in Portugal before coming to the United States.
Stephanie speaks Portugese and Spanish in addition to English. She is part of the Caring Partners team at Bethany who
call on shut-ins. She likes to shop, go to yard sales, and watch scary movies.

Ruth Kurtz is our Organist and Choir Director. She is classically trained and does a wonderful job with our choir.
Choir meets every Sunday after worship to practice except during the summer months.
Joseph Silva is our sexton. He is pictured here with his wife Bell. Joseph makes sure our sanctuary is spotless.
If he finds one teeny, tiny piece of lint on the floor, he picks it up and it's "history"! He loves his job. The
sanctuary is a holy place and Joseph makes sure it is kept that way. In addition to cleaning the church, he sets up
for memorial services, helps out doing odds and ends around the church, and helps our secretary, Stephanie (his
granddaughter). He's a great witness for the Lord Jesus Christ! His birth place is Portugal, so he just may greet
you with "A pas de Senior!"
